Roof surface must be clean and free from any debris:

 

The surface area where upon the roof rack is places should be clean and free from any dust, dirt or debris to prevent the roof rack from scratching or damaging the roof and paint surface.

 

The roof rack must be removed prior washing the car since the detergents and height pressure water may damage the roof rack or valves.

 

In no instance should the roof rack be left on the roof when entering a automated car wash.

 

Washing  and cleaning:

 

A soft moist sponge with mild detergent should be used in conjunction with warm water to clean the roof rack. Chlorine, ammonia, alcohol and sprits should be avoided when cleaning the roof rack to prevent any damage.

The fleece sleeve can be washed using detergent and rinsed out. Fabric softener must not be used when washing to prevent fleece from stretching or damaging.

 

Weight Limit:

 

Never place a load of more than 80 kg on the roof rack:

Please also consult your cars owners manual or dealership to establish the weight limit of the particular vehicle.

 

Air bags:

 

Special attention must be paid to the safety features of the particular car it will be utilized on. In particular special attention must be paid to make sure the installation of the inflatable roof rack wont compromise of negatively effect the air bags of the car. Attention must specifically be paid to curtain air bags of the car.

 

Sunroof:

 

Vehicles with built in sunroof can still utilize the inflatable roof rack in the instance as long as the majority of roof surface area is sufficient to use the roof rack units.

To pace the inflatable roof rack directly unit over the sunroof must be. Please consult your car dealership in this regard.

 

If the vehicle is equipped with a panoramic roof the installation of the inflatable roof rack must be discourage and totally avoided.

 

Miscellaneous :

 

- Remove Inflatable roof rack from vehicle after completion of journey or after for application  it was used for.

- Do not over inflate units
